Clements Creek Marina Construction Project 2023-2024

Mission of the project

A new marina is being built for the DPOA community.

• Construction will start on November 1, 2023, and is expected to be completed by May 1, 2024.

• The new marina will be a community-friendly asset that will benefit all residents.

• The project is being funded by a combination of increased slip fees and community contributions.

• The marina committee is working diligently to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget.

Here are some of the key changes that are being made to the marina:

• The new marina is being more equitably financed and openly managed by and for the entire DPOA community, with slip holders bearing the majority of the ongoing costs.

• Slip fees have been increased to help offset the cost of the new marina.

• The marina committee has been expanded to include new members and non-boat owners.

• The marina will be transitioning from a focus on maintenance to a focus on debt management.

• Two new patio areas will be added to the dock to make the marina more community-friendly.
